At The Edible Florist we create edible blooms through the art of buttercream. Each petal and design is intricately hand piped and presented in the style of a bouquet.
With all of creations they are completely customisable from the colours to the flowers that make up your bouquet. Each bouquet is lovingly prepared bespoke for you.
Based in Pettinain, 5 minutes from Lanark and around 12 minutes from Biggar.
All our cakes are baked fresh to order using the finest of ingredients.
The majority of our cakes use some or all of the ingredients listed below. If you have any questions on specific products, please do feel free to get in touch to discuss.

Natasha's Law
We are compliant with Natasha's law as each of our orders is bespoke we are not required to provide a full ingredients listing for every item sold. If you do require a full list, we are absolutely happy to provide this at the time of booking.
As a boutique artisan studio, we have specific responsibilities and policies to ensure the highest quality of service. All orders placed with The Edible Florist are subject to the following terms and conditions. By purchasing from us, it is understood that you have read and accepted these terms in full.
1. Orders and Pricing
• We reserve the right to refuse an order at any time.
• All prices are non-negotiable and are based on your exact specifications, design complexity, and size.
2. Deposits and Booking Security
• A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date. Your order is not finalised, and your date is not held in my diary, until the deposit is received.
• Deposits must be paid within 24 hours of your enquiry. If unpaid after 24 hours, the slot will be released.
• Paying your deposit secures both the quoted price and the date. Failure to pay results in no booking.
3. Cancellations and Amendments
• By placing an order, you are reserving the artist’s time exclusively for your bespoke creation. Therefore, all deposits are strictly non-refundable.
• Should you wish to cancel your order for any reason, the deposit will be forfeit.
• Adjustments to your order are at our discretion and require a minimum of one week's notice.
4. Collection Policy
• All orders are Collection Only from our Garden Collection Point in Lanark.
• A specific 30-minute collection window will be arranged. It is your responsibility to adhere to this time.
• Late Collections: If you fail to collect within your allocated slot, the order may be treated as a late cancellation and may be advertised for sale via social media. A new collection time (subject to a late fee) may be arranged solely at the convenience of The Edible Florist.
5. Allergen and Dietary Advice
• Our products contain Wheat (Gluten), Dairy (Butter), and Eggs.
• We do not cater for specific dietary requirements (e.g., Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Vegan, or severe allergies). We take no responsibility for the consequences of consumption regarding allergies.
6. Quality, Storage, and Artistic Variation
• Each bouquet is a unique, hand-crafted work of art; you accept that there will be slight variances in colour and design from social media images.
• Storage: Keep at room temperature in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate. No refunds are available on perishable items once they have left the premises.
7. Photography and Promotion
• We reserve the right to photograph any orders we produce for reference and promotional purposes. Images of your order may appear on Facebook, Instagram, and other advertising or publications at our discretion.
8. Food Safety and Cancellations by the Studio
• The Edible Florist is fully registered and inspected by the Food Standards Agency. We are legally bound to abide by all hygiene standards and regulations.
• In the unlikely event that we must cancel your order due to illness or to comply with health legislation, you will be offered a full refund or a rescheduled date.
9. Complaints and Resolutions
• In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your order, please inform us promptly so we can rectify any issues. Refunds cannot be issued without the return of the product for inspection.

All of our products are made fresh to order using the finest ingredients. It is important to me that all of my products taste absolutely delicious as well as looking gorgeous too.
Each order is made completely bespoke and unique to each customer. This means that your exact bouquet may not even have been created before.
Our edible blooms are ideal for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Thank you gifts, Baby Showers, weddings.... there really isn't an occasion that cant be sweetened with some of our beautiful cupcakes.
